Win a Succulent Coloring Book!

– Posted in: Contests and Giveaways, Succulents
AAAAND…we have a winner! Barbara Valentine! I’ll be contacting her today to get her mailing address. Many thanks to all who entered.
Something to consider: My publisher is wonderful about providing a book to someone who’ll put it in front of potential readers/buyers. If you’d like a copy to review on your blog or to include in, say, a silent auction for your garden club, email me: [email protected]. ~ Debra
Enter to win a copy of my new Sensational Succulents adult coloring book! Simply leave a comment below. The winner will be selected at random, announced on this page, and notified by email a week from today (on Monday, June 13). You must be 18 or older to enter and have a US or Canadian mailing address.
Timber giveaway
A second way to win: My publisher is sponsoring a book giveaway, too, and it’s even better—in addition to the coloring book, they’re throwing in $50 worth of art supplies! (It’s perfectly OK to enter both, but do so soon; theirs ends June 10.)

Succulent mandala

Above: One of the book’s succulent mandalas, colored by Susi Torre-Bueno

Coloring a detailed line drawing is a way of engaging your right brain so your left brain is free to solve problems. Mandalas are especially soothing, and Sensational Succulents has ten.

Good luck!

mike okumura June 8, 2016, 11:38 pm

hi, yes, thx for allowing us evry week to learn about your wonderful ideas on gardening all sorts off stuffs. the picts are breathtakingly beautiful. 1 may, literally spend hrs. and hrs. spending time reading, looking, and ingesting all your knowledge that’s imparted to us every week, and reviewing all the previous 1’s. i would’ve enjoyed poring over the great material even if i didn’t have an accident, truly. now, i’m limited to living my life either on my wheelchair[ i tend to get bedsores so not much time there], or on my hospital bed. over 6 yrs. ago, i had a farm mishap and now need 24/.7 care to be able to live. i have 8 caregivers rotate the times to care for me. since i’m poor, i can’t pay even $1/hr., so my pals care for me free. i barely can move and can’t write, but i could color a book, barely. but i’m persistent, very patient, and loving, so i’d really enjoy it. thx. aloha, unckle mike
