I had all of the pictures of my trees, bushes and flowers taken and ready to post: that is, until I made a quick sprint over to Chanticleer on Wednesday. What can I say except that I thought all of you would appreciate what they have in bloom much more than anything I can show you from my garden. So, go ahead and enjoy!!
This first picture is of a pale blue amsonia just about ready to bloom with a wonderful deep burgundy smoke bush and peach colored azalea bush contrasting beautifully with its soft pastel color.
A container near the entrance filled with chard with a the yellow Robinia pseudocacia ‘Frisia’ as a stand out in the background.
This photo was taken in what is known as the ‘Tennis Court’ garden. Allium, iris, carex and what looks to be (perhaps) Spiraea japonica ‘Magic Carpet’, the small golden yellow, red tinged shrub in the background. Another photo of a container in bloom near the entrance of the garden.
And finally, a magnificent pink digitalis with lemon yellow osteospermum in a container planting. It looks like it could be Osteospermum ‘Buttermilk’.
